Knitwear No. 06 – Midnight Garden
A one-of-a-kind handmade patchwork sweater combining deep navy, warm cream, soft beige and subtle earthy tones.
The sweater is built around a striking colour-block design, with one side of the body in deep navy and the other in warm neutral tones. Different knitted and crocheted textures are brought together with carefully placed decorative details, creating a balanced but wonderfully unconventional composition.
The neckline is finished with a statement crochet floral collar, featuring handmade flowers in cream and navy with delicate contrasting details. Small embroidered and crocheted floral motifs appear across the navy sections, adding a playful botanical touch.
The neutral side features warm brown textured crochet squares and a larger floral motif, creating a beautiful contrast with the darker half of the sweater. A soft blue-grey detail on the sleeve adds another subtle layer of colour.
The hem and cuffs are finished with delicate contrasting crochet edging, giving the sweater a distinctive handmade finish.
