Knitwear No. 05 – Blue Mosaic
A one-of-a-kind handmade patchwork sweater in a rich palette of navy, cobalt, cornflower blue, turquoise and icy blue.
This statement piece is built from a playful arrangement of individually crocheted and knitted sections. The main body features an irregular mosaic of small blue squares in different shades, creating a graphic pattern that is unique to this sweater.
The sleeves are made in a delicate openwork crochet stitch, contrasting beautifully with the denser patchwork body. Multiple shades of blue are layered throughout the piece, from deep navy to bright turquoise and soft powder blue, giving the sweater depth while keeping the overall colour palette harmonious.
Two large handmade patch pockets complete the design. Their contrasting blue tones and decorative edging add both character and practicality.
The sweater has a relaxed, oversized shape with wide sleeves and a distinctive patchwork construction. Every section has been made by hand and carefully combined into a completely unique garment.
